Debido a la pandemia que nos afecta producto del coronavirus (COVID-19), muchas de las actividades y clases lectivas de diversas instituciones se han visto suspendidas o reprogramadas bajo nuevas modalidades que permitan la educación a distancia. En este modelo, la Academia Diplomática se une a los procesos de formación online participando de las charlas #SciDipTalks  dictadas por Scitech DiploHub de Barcelona.

La siguiente charla, se titula “The COVID-19 Crisis in Europe: A Failure of Science Diplomacy?”  y  se desarrollará mañana  2 de abril desde las 10:00 (13:00 hrs. España) la inscripción es abierta a todo público

Europe has been defined as the epicenter of the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19) global crisis. The spread of the virus in the continent has led to the re-emergence of the nation state in Europe, challenging the very core values of the EU and reshaping citizens’ perception of the latter. This session aims to analyze the main differences between member states’ responses to the pandemic and scrutinize the role of the EU in coordinating national efforts and advancing virus mitigation. It will finally reflect on the internal challenges the virus has brought to light, and the long-term impact on the European integration process.
